Face Care Tool Review: Miniso Facebrush

Yay or Nay? Yay!
Price: Php 199

Stumbled upon Miniso Philippines‘ new SM Megamall branch last October. There were many people since it was only the 2nd day since they opened. I wasn’t planning on buying anything but they do have lots of cute and quality products (better than Japan Home). Sadly, I couldn’t find We Bare Bears plushies (I’m a fan especially of Ice Bear). The other plushies available were still cute and fluffy though; I felt happy hugging some of them.

Lo and behold, I found cool facial brushes at affordable prices! I was contemplating if I should get the Php 749 sonic facial brush (a dupe of clarisonic) that comes in pink and blue colors. I thought the 3 AA battery requirement will be a future hassle to me so I opted for the cute P199 manual brush set instead (it only comes in pink color).

It’s handy since it is best to give our faces a good clean scrub once or twice a week (especially if you’re an oily person living in polluted Metro Manila like me). The bristles are soft and it reminded me of the shaving foam brush barbers/groomers used. After usage, the drying stand helps keep everything hygienic. The 2nd silicone attachment gives a bit rougher but squeakier clean scrub and should be used not as often as bristle attachment. I think the silicone attachment would be good for cleaning makeup brushes, too (talk about multipurpose).

I read the box and it says that the product was designed in Miniso Japan but was made in China. Still, it doesn’t feel so cheap though the price is a steal! The bristles haven’t shed so far.

I also got to buy some Miniso branded cool art pens & markers which were a steal (3 for Php 99)! Usually, those are pricey in NBS and art shops.

I like the idea that we can use our SM advantage card or BDO rewards card in Miniso, too! Those points have helped me get some freebies from Watsons many times.

Like what my URL dictates, this is an unpaid review. It was reviewed out of either whim or rant/rave.
